Proč právě tento příběh? More

Už v minulosti jsem některé své původně beletristické nebo dramatické příběhy posléze zpracovala jako scénáře. Myslím, že vůbec není podstatné, jestli film vychází z knížky, z divadelní hry nebo z původního námětu. Důležité je, aby příběh, který vypráví, dostal autentickou podobu s hodnověrnými postavami, žijícími věrohodné životy. Takový věrohodný život nemusí být ani zdaleka obyčejný, průměrný. Může být totálně vyšinutý, naprosto mimo normál! Ale když se podaří, aby divák věřil postavě, bude věřit i jejímu životu.

Čemu má divák v případě "Únosu domů" uvěřit?

Především hlavní postavě - Liborovi. Má se víc než dobře. Na co si vzpomene, to dostane. A stejně mu něco chybí. Možná to, co v životě dospívajícího člověka hraje největší roli. Chybí mu jistota, že k někomu patří. K někomu, někam.

Je pro dnešní mládež rodinné zázemí opravdu tak důležité? Vypadají sebejistě...

Oni totiž klamou tělem. Já nevím, jestli je to tím množstvím informací, které si denně vysurfují na internetu, nebo stravou - těmi rychlými kuřátky, které do sebe takovou rychlostí házejí, - každopádně působí daleko dospěleji než my v jejich věku. Dá se s nimi mluvit skoro o všem. Vypadají sebejistě, ale v něčem - možná v tom základním - jsou strašně zranitelní. Svět kolem nich nemusí být dokonalý, ale musí to být svět, kde se s nimi naplno počítá. Který by se bez nich zhroutil, změnil, prostě neobešel. Jako buňka, ze které byste vytáhli nějakou stavební částici už nikdy nebude tím, čím byla. A tenhle pocit dovedou zprostředkovat jenom lidé, ve kterých je láska.

Takže je to vlastně film o lásce?

Spíš o schopnosti dát city najevo. Vzbudit je a opětovat. Pokud jde o žánr, je "Únos domů" napínavé drama. Drama dospívajícího chlapce, který musí prokázat nejen odvahu, ale i schopnost v dnešním světě plném pseudohodnot a pseudovztahů najít svou vlastní osobitou cestu.

To, co Libora na začátku obklopuje, je nesrovnatelné s tím, v čem žije na konci, a stejně chápeme - aspoň doufám, že divák pochopí - že se nechce vrátit do světa chladného luxusu, který se jen stěží dá nazývat domov.

Jakým divákům je film určen?

I když je to film s puberťákem v hlavní roli, je to film hlavně o nás dospělých. O tom, jak umíme náctileté vnímat, kolik času jsme ochotni jim věnovat a jestli se jim snažíme trochu dostat pod kůži. Takže je to film jak pro mládež, tak pro dospělé, kteří s mladými neztratili kontakt.
